The High Performance Home 100 is managed by E-Star Colorado.
E-Star Colorado is a non-profit whose mission is to advance energy-efficiency in buildings. In 1995 E-Star Colorado began operating the state's first home energy rating system (HERS), and has collected data on over 14,000 homes. In addition, E-Star has provided builder and code official trainings, has educated consumers, and has partnered with like-minded organizations to improve Colorado housing.
E-Star will spearhead the High Performance Home 100 in an effort to further its own mission, and the goals and values of the founding consortium of the High Performance Home 100. As the managing group, E-Star will be responsible for forming and disseminating the study as well as organizing events, and actively promoting the members.
